Children's Author/Illustrator
Hello and thanks for stopping by!
I am the author and illustrator of several picture books for children, including The World in Our Backyard, Starboy: Inspired by the Life and Lyrics of David Bowie, Imagination Vacation, Seb and the Sun, Mae and the Moon, and the illustrator of My Daddy Can Fly!.
I also work as a Texture Supervisor at Lucasfilm’s Industrial Light and Magic, and have worked as a visual artist on over 30 motion pictures and episodic series, including Avatar The Last Airbender, Free Guy, and The Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian.
Originally from Madison, Wisconsin, I studied Digital Animation at Vancouver Film School and worked in Los Angeles and London before settling down in Vancouver, B.C., where I now live with my husband, two children and a big orange cat. In addition to writing and drawing, I love cozying up with a good book and thick socks, and combing the shoreline for treasures or hiking through the rainforest with my family.
