I am an author, illustrator and filmmaker with a passion for storytelling.

Currently I work days as a Texture Supervisor at Disney’s Industrial Light and Magic, and in my free time I am busy creating my own work; developing new ideas, learning new things, and creating stories with humour and heart.

I am orginally from Madison, Wisconsin where I got my BA in Communication Arts at UW- Madison. But with a passion for animation, I went on to study 3D Animation at Vancouver Film School and worked in Los Angeles and London for many years before returning back to Vancouver, B.C., where I now live with my husband, two children and a big orange cat.

In addition to writing, drawing, and working on films, I love cozying up with a good book and thick socks, paddleboarding along the BC coast and hiking through the rainforest with my family.
